Fun-filled Fylde events this summer!

Summer is just around the corner – and hopefully the weather to go with it!

The Fylde Coast is one of the best places to be in the north west with loads of events going on.

And we’ve got the accommodation for your staycation (or if you’re travelling from further afield).

From St Annes to Fleetwood – and Blackpool and Cleveleys in between – we have a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments, plus studios and penthouses to suit your needs. All our apartments are close to transport hubs and the Fylde benefits from having one of the best transport systems in the UK, so you are never far from the action.

So, where to go and what to see? We cannot possibly put down all the events here in this blog, so we’ve chosen five – the rest you’ll be able to see on our social media platforms.

Lytham Festival

June 28 - July 10 - The Green and various venues

Diana Ross, Simply Red, Paul Weller, Elbow… the list of the biggest and best in pop, rock and classic goes on as the stars descend on Lytham Green later this month. It’s the biggest festival the town has ever put on and tickets are selling fast, as is the accommodation! Luckily, we have some mid-week stays available so click here for more info.

PDC Darts Championship

July 16-24 - Blackpool Winter Gardens

The biggest darts tournament of the summer – right here in Blackpool – at the iconic Winter Gardens venue – and we have apartments located five minutes from there. Thirty-two of the world’s top darters will be battling it out for the Phil Taylor trophy. Check out our apartments below.

Rebellion Punk Festival

August 4-7 - various Blackpool venues

One of the UK’s biggest punk festivals and this year it has even more venues – with acts including Levellers, Gary Numan, The Stranglers, Squeeze and Billy Bragg – punks will be taking over the town. It’s one of the best organised and safest festivals in the resort and this year promises the same. We have apartments in Blackpool, as well as Cleveleys and Fleetwood (should you require a little R&R after rocking!)

Blackpool Air Show

August 13 & 14 - the skies above the Promenade!

Red Arrows! Surely that should be enough to get the excitement flowing as the world’s best aerobatic team tops the bill above the skies on Blackpool for the first time in three years! To complement the aerial programme, there will be plenty to see and do on the ground with a wide range of stalls, attractions and food concessions in the Air Show Village on the Tower Festival Headland.

Lytham War Weekend

August 20 & 21 - Lytham Green

War time Britain takes over Lytham Green for its first event in almost two years as a weekend of 40s singing, dancing and big bands, weapons displays, historic vehicles, vintage traders and amazing costumes come to the seaside town. We have apartments located 10-minutes down the road in St Annes which are ideally placed to enjoy this unique event.
