“Unprecedented times” is becoming a phrase we’ve heard quite a lot this year. 

So too is the “new normal” which is what we are having to get used to following months of lockdown for millions of people. 

Charles Alexander Short Stay, like thousands of other businesses, have embraced a new way of working by helping to house key workers in our apartments. 

Now we are coming out of lockdown and open for taking visitors to our apartments, the months of work behind the scenes will be seen by those being our guests. 

We have had some great reviews from our guests as well who feel safe with the changes we have implemented over the past few months. 

Our apartments have undergone several changes to embrace the “new normal”, including: 

• Contactless check-in for all guests

• Enhanced cleaning in place 

• Approved Antiviral disinfectant used in all apartments and communal areas

• All linen and towels washed at 60 degrees

• Hand sanitising gel and disinfectants in all apartments

• Additional staff training for COVID-19

All these new procedures have meant guests can feel safe and secure staying with Charles Alexander Short Stay. 

It’s also meant we are now one of many hospitality businesses that have secured a “We’re good to go” standard mark from VisitEngland. 

Acquiring the Industry Standard mark means that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, and that we have a Risk Assessment in place that includes a process to maintain, and exceed, cleanliness and also to aid social distancing.
