We're good to go!

Charles Alexander Short Stay has been approved by VisitBritain’s “We’re good to go!” scheme.

The scheme is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

It means all our short stay apartments have met government guidelines so anyone staying with Charles Alexander can do so with peace of mind.

The scheme has been developed in partnership with Tourism Northern Ireland, VisitScotland and Visit Wales to ensure a standard-led approach across the UK with input from more than 40 industry bodies including UKHospitality, the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions, the British Holiday & Home Parks Association, the British Beer and Pub Association and the National Caravan Council as well as destination management organisations across the country.

Joanne Kirton, director of Charles Alexander Short Stay, said: “We are delighted to have been approved by VisitBritain for the scheme. Like all accommodation providers, the health and safety of all our guests are of paramount importance. We want them to enjoy their stay safe in the knowledge they do so in a clean and safe environment.

“We have put extra measures in place to ensure we go above and beyond the guidelines set out by the government.”

VisitEngland Director Patricia Yates said: “We want visitors to be able to enjoy their holidays and to support businesses to be confident they have the correct procedures in place. Our priority is to make sure tourism rebounds to once again become one of the most successful sectors of the UK economy and this ‘ring of confidence’ is a crucial step on the industry’s road to rebuilding.”
