Discover the Fylde Coast

Welcome to the Fylde Coast

Charles Alexander Short Stay now has apartments across the glorious Fylde Coast – from the sandy beaches of St Annes to the historical port of Fleetwood.

St Anne’s is a traditional “bucket and spade” tourist trap for thousands of people every year, enticed by miles of untouched beaches, gorgeous gardens and picture-perfect places for picnics and strolls along the promenade.

A few miles away in Lytham there are more restaurants, pubs and wine bars catering for all tastes and nestled in between is the small town of Ansdell – fast becoming a local arts and creative hub – while the parish of Fairhaven boasts its famous Lake, a magnet for millions of migrating birds every year and a twitchers paradise.

Along the coast in Blackpool, a bustling tourism metropolis for families and fun-seeking individuals and home to some of the best apartments in the town, namely Charnley House in the centre of the resort.
Idle away the hours along The Golden Mile, view the Illuminations, roller coaster your way around Blackpool Pleasure Beach or go to the top of The Blackpool Tower! There is certainly something for everybody.

Cleveleys has always been a popular destination for families with its promenade and thriving town centre which has a mix of independent and high-street names. It’s market attracts coach-loads of bargain-hunters every week and is close enough to Blackpool by tram or even if you fancy stretching your legs along the coast.

Finally, the heritage port of Fleetwood has long been a point of interest for tourists, keen to explore the seafront and its mix of wildlife or to use as a base for the rest of the borough of Wyre, which is rich in historical importance to the rest of the Fylde Coast. Charles Alexander has apartments stretching the length and breadth of the Fylde, at a budget to suit everyone.
